查看所有台灣住宅多以RC結構為主,不過礙於材料強度、梁柱尺寸等因素,高樓層多搭配SRC構造建造,然鋼骨結構隔音效果有限。同為地震頻繁的日本,開發出New RC結構,是以高強度鋼筋及高強度混凝土進行鋼筋混凝土之結構設計,目的是使超高層之RC建築於低樓層之柱梁斷面減少,以免佔據過多的使用空間,日本New RC鋼筋混凝土建築目前最高興建可達60樓一樣安全又耐震,台灣目前亦在加強研究New RC結構,相信不久台灣也會陸續有New RC的建築出現哦。
建築物在建造過程中每根鋼筋的長度、彎鈎、綁紮品質都對建築安全影響甚巨,相對的每根鋼骨的每處焊接鎖固點,也都是建築安全品質的重要關鍵點,其實只要充分發揮鋼骨及鋼筋的特質之結構設計,並搭配精準確實的施工品質,都能興建出最佳的結構安全住宅。在結構規劃設計時,就充分與施工端共同檢討工法之施工性,讓工地現場施工能有合宜的工作度,能完善的控制施工品質,如此,不論是哪種構造建築,沒有絕對的好與壞,應是由結構安全專業者去評估每棟建築適用的工法,選擇最適當合理又能兼顧工地施工品質的建造工法,才是正確的。
